Just a quick note to close the blog for this year. Well done to everyone in year 4 for working so hard and achieving so much this year. I’ll miss you all next year and look forward to seeing you in the autumn when I’ll bring in the new baby to meet you all!!

The children have used Pixlr (an online photo editing package) to change some pictures they took to inspire them for their poetry writing. I think you’ll agree that they are fantastic!

Today in our Geography lesson we talked about different climates. Here are some pictures of the children using atlases to find countries with the climates they were studying.
Year four started to experiment with a writer’s circle today. They worked in groups to read each other’s stories and comment on them, in order to help them improve.

For reading week some of the children entered a ‘Story Hat’ competition. They mad hats to represent their favourite books. Well done to all those who entered and to Alishba who one the prize!
